But, if you are here, lets talk: why did you choose snowboarding? For example, I choose it, cause I am a skater and i thought, that I could know every sport, which is connecting with the decks)):)

yuka 25 января 2006 03:24 33 messages	Little snowboarder I`ll be there from 28.01 till 12.02 and then I`m going to visit tbilisi. I prefer freeriding, but freestyle is also good. I`m beter at freeride then at freestyle(my best trick is, actually was, backside180+tailgrab, i want to make backside 540 this year or rodeo). Thank you or I`ll beter say merci

I'm planing to discover gudauri this season! never heard of it, but fell in love when i surfed through while online checking for good boarding destinations in europe/east of europe! Got a couple questions if you don't mind: Can somebody tell me what is the best time to go? We might only have time around new year? Whats the price for a heli lift w. guide? I'm currently working in the middel east, sick of the heat and sand, miss the snow like crazy! I really appreciate your time! P.L.H

daToxa 9 октября 2006 17:42 1118 Posts	Нi there, the best time for riding is march i think, because there will be "firn", couple centimeters of ice above new snow, it's the best way to get high. New Year is also great time to visit Gudauri because of good snow and perfect slopes but Heli Ski works only from the end of February till the end of April. Best Regards.

Details are there: http://www.alpintravel.ch/root_e/set.htm. But anyway you will get great fun in Gudauri even without Heli. Wide snow fields around ski lifts will make you good compensation for Middle East sand hell :) "Die hard" men can choose backcountry. It will cost about 50 euros for guide per 3-4 people group. Welcome to Gudauri :yes
